One Kilowatt, one tree
ServerChoice plants one tree for every one kW of power sold. That’s an average of 4 trees planted for every single rack sold. We’ve partnered with a tree planting organisation that plants across the world, ensuring trees are planted, cared for, and benefits local communities. Tree planting is recognised as a method of fighting climate change through carbon sequestration.
High efficiency infrastructure
ServerChoice has operated high-efficiency data centres since the beginning, investing in innovative technologies to deliver low PUEs in all our data centres. For example, we were amongst the first in the UK to use cold-aisle enclosure, and we make extensive use of free-cooling technology in all our facilities. For our customers, this better use of energy results in lower costs.
Renewable energy sources
ServerChoice has always invested in renewable energy sources where possible, and we’re proud to say that select data centres now operate with 100% renewable energy. We’re committed to furthering this, and are working to bring 100% renewable energy to all our data centres soon.
